Rights & Justice Support — Open to All
Everyone Deserves to Know Their Rights
Rooted in the Sikh teaching of Sarbat da Bhala — the wellbeing of all — Soma extends free guidance on human rights, legal navigation, and administrative burdens to every person who needs it, regardless of faith, background, or circumstance. No one should face the system alone.
Legal, administrative and rights support is delivered by an Australian law graduate — bringing qualified legal knowledge to every session, at no cost to you.
Human Rights Guidance
Understanding your rights is the first step to protecting them. We help individuals identify when their rights may have been breached — in the workplace, in housing, in healthcare, or by government agencies — and explain the pathways available to them.
Discrimination & equal opportunity rights
Workplace rights and unfair treatment
Housing and tenancy rights
Rights in healthcare and mental health settings
Rights for migrants, refugees & visa holders
Support Services Navigation
The support system is fragmented and overwhelming. We act as a compass — helping you identify the right services, understand eligibility, and connect with community, government, and non-profit resources that match your situation.
Mental health & crisis support referrals
Centrelink, NDIS & welfare service navigation
Family violence and safety services
Aged care and disability support pathways
Community legal centres and advocacy bodies
Legal Guidance & Referral
Our Australian law graduate provides informed legal guidance — helping you understand your situation, your options under Australian law, and the most effective next steps. Where specialist representation is needed, we connect you with the right free or low-cost legal services to take it further.
Qualified guidance from an Australian law graduate
Understanding your legal position and options
Family law, tenancy, employment & consumer matters
Migration, visa and citizenship legal pathways
Referral to Legal Aid and community legal centres
Delivered by an Australian law graduate
Administrative & Fines Support
Government notices, fines, and bureaucratic paperwork can spiral into serious financial and legal consequences if left unaddressed. Our law graduate helps you understand exactly what you have received, what your rights are, and how to respond strategically — before costs and penalties escalate.
Interpreting government letters, notices & demands
Fines review, hardship applications & payment plans
Infringement notices — grounds to contest or reduce
Responding to Centrelink, ATO & council correspondence
Debt negotiation and financial hardship navigation
Delivered by an Australian law graduate
Always Free. Always Confidential. No Referral Needed.
The Sikh principle of Seva — selfless service — means we offer this support without charge, without judgment, and without any requirement to be of a particular faith or community. If you are facing a difficult situation, you are welcome here.
Rights and administrative support provided by an Australian law graduate is limited to general information, document organisation, administrative assistance and referrals — not legal advice, representation or personalised migration assistance. Where professional advice is required, we refer to a solicitor, Community Legal Centre, state or territory Legal Aid service or registered migration professional. SOMA Sciences is not a law firm.
